Quinoa, pronounced keen-wah and often mistaken as a grain is a powerhouse superfood seed that every household should have in the pantry.
Quinoa is a favourite food in this house, rich in protein, iron and magnesium, your brain really thanks you after consuming this super seed.
I was struggling with what to give my boys for breakfast and as they are vegan I am always up for a high protein food. My sons have been having Quinoa for breakfast for a good while now and they love all types especially with Mum’s Homemade Almond Milk.
To try it for yourself or your little ones today you will require;
Ingredients:
250g Bio Fair Mixed Quinoa seeds
Desired amount of Almond Milk
Method to follow:
Soak the Quinoa for 8 hours or overnight.

Add Quinoa to a bowl and add the Almond Milk to cover.
My kids love it and I am so happy knowing they are eating well.
Enjoy!
