Here is my photo for the Architecture task.
I struggled to see many great examples for this one and thought this church looked pretty. I also admired the local bandstand which had a more appealing background.
Unfortunately I do not have the monochrome / black and white option on my phone so I had to wait a while to be able to edit the photo after taking it.
Architecture isn’t one of my favourite subjects to capture right now, I think this is due to the lack of beauty in it around me. If I was to be in a handsome place with fine buildings I am sure I would love photographing it more. I enjoyed the challenge and the change.
This morning I woke to the days task and felt blessed. Life is our greatest treasure. Grass to walk on, air to breathe, sun and water to help us grow, our families, our memories, the deep and incomparable warmth resonating within us. Love is treasure. Pure treasure. Better than any doubloons or gems, feeling connected in such a way with something or someone so beautiful is the world’s most priceless treasure.
I was looking for a simple shot to say that treasure is the simple things we often take for granted.
I am blessed and very thankful to be able to see the grass for what it truly is.
Here is my treasure:
The frost on the grass reminded me of the treasure we are blessed with in God, the changing of the seasons reminds us to slow down, listen to life, feel the flow and to dance within it.
The wind whispers treasure to all that listen.
I didn’t have much time to really observe the image in my photo for too long as this ‘swarm’ was moving a little too fast! Nevertheless I am happy with what I did get. I’m hoping my abiotic swarm still counts 😊
I am still running behind but I’m also still very determine to do this! I don’t have the monochrome b&w settings on my phone it seems so that one has been delayed but I will have been a warrior this weekend 😁
As I wiped the cobwebs from the leaf etched glass windows I suddenly saw my photo101 for this weeks’ task! Yay! I did wonder if it was going to be possible to capture a shot for this especially since I was so blessed earlier in the week to see the Red kites…and…it was definitely possible to see more.
Whilst waiting for my phone to load I remembered I was half way through cleaning the windows, I hopped back up on the side of the bath and kept going. As soon as I stood up a flurry of birds flew gracefully in the wind above me!
I always feel blessed to have groups of birds flutter above and around and don’t even get me started on the bees! I am just a crazy nature woman who believes it is good luck when insects land on you.
Back to the initial capture;
It rose in the sky and captured my Eye, in the moment I was taken by the beauty of it all.
The beautiful mess pierced the clouded sky.
Quick get the camera before it goes by.
Nostalgic and awakened I took my aim.
It didn’t stay around for long.
Here are my Swarm photos:
Todays moments. The spinning leg of a spider.
Goodness me…how delicious! So sweet and majorly high in fats but oh my I really could have got lost in these were it not for my senses kicking in. To be honest I probably did have one or two too many but once you try them you will be pining for more too!
Healthy and organic rawness comes alive on your tongue when you indulge in these balls.
Now this isn’t so much as a recipe more just a post as these beauties were just thrown together at the calling of my womanhood with no measuring whatsoever and not being complicated at all it is really simple to create your own.
The ingredients are:
* Organic Smooth Cashew Butter
* Organic Desiccated Coconut
* Organic Agave Syrup
I took about 3 large spoonfuls of butter and mixed with about the same amount of coconut and slightly less agave then I continued to slowly add more of each until I reached a consistency where it could be rolled.
After rolling them into balls, as well as could be achieved, I then rolled them around in a plate of the coconut until they were covered.
I then changed the plate and put them in the fridge to set.
I returned around 30 minutes later to find they were nearly solid and upon taking a bite, I discovered they were oh so melt in the mouth.
Uh oh, Mumas found a new vice!
These will definitely be on the dessert list for this weekends antics 😀
If you love sweet treats then these are definitely for you!
Wow. The golden key for me is the key to being me, being free from ego and fear, from all things holding me back from where I need to be. What a magical thing. How I have become so far from my natural state, to becoming hooked on the things I am, is beyond me but no regrets and no use living in the past. Living in the moment and moving forward following my heart in a truly righteous manner is clearly the only option. Oh but the barriers, not to be hidden behind, not hiding, can’t get through? Force isn’t the way so they cant be smashed through. Stillness and a careful ear with the strength and will to follow what is heard, now, that’s the golden key.
I love the idea of this task and actually before I even knew about it the requirements were what I had decided on the day before, hope this still counts 😊
The ‘pop’ of colour comes from the pretty pink flower in the background for without it this photo would be rather neutral in colour. The vibrancy of the true nature of the flower shines through.
For this task we had to leave comments on 4 blogs.
